Sony ECM-DS70P Electret Condenser Stereo Microphone Reviews
I got this mike to go with my Kodak zi8 flip-style video camera. The sound quality is quite good. I had to get an extension cord, though, as the cord on this mike was too short to reach to the camera, as I want the camera farther away from my subject. The mike is a bit heavy and wants to fall over once it's attached to someone's blouse, but other than that, I love it.

Wow! - Derek -
I attached this mic to my Kodak Zi8, and I recorded a concert this weekend. I didn't have the time to set the audio levels on my camera, but that was OK because it still sounded like I was recording in my garage. Great mic, just don't get the cheap rip off version

I purchased this microphone to go with a Kodak zi8 HD camera I bought. One channel of the stereo mic was dead. I tested the mic on a number of different devices and the same problem followed the mic. I tried a different stereo mic on the camera and it worked fine. I send the seller a note telling of the problem and asking for a quick response. I got no response. I contacted the seller three times and there is still no response. Not a word. This was a fairly expensive microphone and I suspect that if it worked properly, it would be a decent quality device. The one channel that works sounds great. So my issue is with the seller, who I strongly suggest that you avoid. br /br /
